To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 to encourage economic growth
    through reduction of the tax rates for individual taxpayers, acceleration of
    capital cost recovery of investment in plant, equipment, and real property,
    and incentives for savings, and for other purposes.

    following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Ways and Means




                       A BILL
To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 to encourage
                                                     a
    economic growth through reduction of the tax rates for
    individual taxpayers, acceleration of capital cost recovery of
    investment in plant, equipment, and real property, and in-
    centives for savings, and for other purposes.

  1      Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-
  2 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
  3  SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE; TABLE OF CONTENTS; AMENDMENT
  4              OF 1954 CODE.
  5      (a) SHORT TITLE.-This Act may be cited as the Eco-


6 nomic Recovery Tax Act of 1981.
