                          (Updated August 2016)

AEl has produced more than a dozen extensive public opinion studies comparing results from
various pollsters on a wide range of topics. We began this public opinion study to understand the
public's reaction to the 2008 financial crash, and we have updated it several times. We discuss
our findings in depth in the following pages. Although many pollsters have stopped regularly
updating questions they asked at the time of the crash, we hope that after the recent gyrations in
the global markets that they may return to some of these topics. As always, we are grateful to the
Roper Center's iPoll databank and other resources, which we use to update our polling data.
