Women in 2018
In January, the Gallup Organization reported that 37 percent nationally were dissatisfied with the position of
women in the US, the highest level of dissatisfaction since Gallup began asking the question in 20o. Nearly half
of all women, 46 percent, were dissatisfied, up from 30 percent in 2oo8. The shift from 2oo8 to 2o18 was driven
by Democrats; Republican men and women's views did not change.
