                                       How Angry?

Shortly after Donald Trump embraced the mantle of anger, Bernie Sanders said that he, too, was angry, adding the
American people are angry. Indeed, in a question Monmouth University asked recently, 9 percent said all Americans
feel angry about Washington politics, and 53 percent said that most feel that way. The ABC News/Washington Post and
Pew trends below show that anger has been building over time, but that the current level of anger is similar to what it was
going into the 2012 presidential election.
