              CONTEMPT: SUMMARY OF
                     REFORM PROPOSALS
THIS PAPER IS NOT A COMMISSION REPORT. It is a
summary of provisional proposals for reform of contempt law
contained in three Discussion Papers published by the Commis-
sion. These are as follows: Contempt and Family Law (DP 24),
Contempt and the Media (DP 26) and Contempt: Disruption,
Disobedience and Deliberate Interference (DP 27). THE PRO-
POSALS ARE PUT FORWARD AS A BASIS FOR DIS-
CUSSION AND NOT AS FINAL CONCLUSIONS. THE
PAPER IS INTENDED TO PROMOTE DISCUSSION
AND ELICIT COMMENTS WHICH WILL BE CONSID-
ERED BY THE COMMISSION IN REACHING ITS CON-
CLUSIONS AND DRAFTING ITS FINAL REPORT. All in-
