Vol. 3 No. 5 NEWSLETTER August 1977

EDITOR'S CORNER
It was encouraging to see so
many members of ALLUNY at the 70th
Annual Meeting of AALL in Toronto.
Attendance at these national meetings
helps the individual librarian realize
other people have the same problems
and when opportunities arise to talk
about them, the problems seem to
minimize themselves. In addition to
small group talks, the excellent
informational panels prepared by
AALL are most helpful such as the
one presented in Toronto on New
Developments in Law Library Admin-
istration. The subject covered
New Administrative Problems in Law
Firm Libraries, Academic Libraries
and Court Libraries. The court
libraries subject was expertly
presented by our president, Bob
Gutz.
A special address was given by
Barbara A. Ringer, Register of Copy-
rights, on a subject affecting all
of us - The New Copyright Law.
For minutes of the meeting, be
sure to read the August issue of
LAW LIBRARY JOURNAL.
I must apologize to the members
of ALLUNY who gathered for a group
picture to be printed in this
Newsletter. The fellow who took
the pictures cut off heads in one

picture and feet in the other.
Needless to say, the picture will
not appear in the Newsletter.
Remember this is your News-
letter. Please submit any infor-
mation for printing to:
