Editorial
At the request of President
Bob Gutz, I have assumed the
responsibility of our Newsletter.
The Association needs this means
of communication but without the
cooperation of all of the members,
it is a difficult assignment.
Won't you please help by
sending any personnel notes, job
placements or articles of interest
and benefit to the law librarian
profession. Please send to:

AALL Meeting
The 69th Annual Meeting of
the American Association of Law
Libraries will be held in Boston
from June 20th to June 24th.
Program Chairman Morris Cohen
has planned a professional program
to include both historical and
contemporary aspects of law
librarianship. In this Bicen-
tennial Year, Boston welcomes
us to its many cultural and
recreational facilities. The
Opening Reception on Sunday
evening will be held at the

famous New England Aquarium and
*on Tuesday evening we will attend
Law Librarians Night at the Pops
at Symphony Hall for a performance
of the reknowned Boston Symphony
Pops Orchestra. Space does not
permit a detailed program listing
with the many important workshops
and panels scheduled throughout
the days and evenings. If you are
not a member of AALL and, therefore
have not received any information
about the meeting but would like
to attend, complete the form on the
last page of this Newsletter. If
you attend, you may join AALL at
the time of registration. If
attendance is impossible, join
AALL by contacting Antonette Russo,
AALL Headquarters, 53 W. Jackson
Blvd., Chicago, Ill. 60604. The
membership fee is $32.00 and in-
cludes a subscription to the LAW
LIBRARY JOURNAL, a very worthwhile
publication for all law librarians.
SCLL Meeting
State and Court Law Libraries
of the United States and Canada was
organized and held its first Annual
Meeting in conjunction with the
AALL Meeting in Saint Paul in 1974.
Since that time it has grown to a
membership of 165 and publishes its
