SEASON'S GREETINGS FROM THE PRESIDENT
Now that the festive season has arrived, it seems like a
very appropriate time to send you a message of good cheer, and
a bit of news.
In October, I was fortunate to be able to attend the LLAGNY
meeting in New York City. President Ed Bander presented a very
stimulating program in the person of Professor McLaughlin of
Fordham, who spoke on the new CPLR, It was a meeting well worth
attending.
Last week, Betty LeBus of Indiana University, who heads
the AALL Scholarship Committee, has supplied me with quite a few
scholarship application forms. If any of the members are
interested, I urge you to apply. Drop me a card and I shall
send one on to you immediately. As you know, the first Institute
is to be held this summer and it is a wonderful opportunity for
a deserving person.
Plans are beginning to form for the 10th Annual meeting of
ALLUNY. However, we are anxious to hear about any and all ideas
that you may have to make it a well remembered conference. Any
suggestions are more than welcome, and greatly appreciated. Send
your letters to me:

Court records and briefs, on microcards, for the years
1946-1961. If you have access to a microcard reader, and
have use for them, don't hesitate to let us know. We are
more than happy to lend them out.
