HARRY A. BIGELOW
PROFESSOR Of LAW
February 20, 1929.
Professor Austin W. Scott,
Harvard Law School,
Cambridge, MTass.
Dear Scott:
I enclose herewith a proposed addition to the Property
Restatement. You will notice that I am putting Transfer in a
Section separate from the Section on Conveyance. The two seem
to me sufficiently distinct to justify this separation. T shall
be glad to hear from you with respect to this material.
With respect to my definition of complete property,
you mentioned some case that you thought showed the incorrect-
ness, strictly speaking, of the definition that I gave. It was
some illustration concerned with Powers but I made no note of
it and I am now unable to recall what it is. I should apprec-
iate it if you would give me an outline of what your objection
is, with illustrations that show the fault in the concept as
I have worked it out.
Very sincerely yours,
HAD: TM
Enclosure.
