Questions Suggested for Discussion at
Eighth Annual Meeting
May 8-10, 1930
Discussion is not confined to the questions pre-
sented here. You are earnestly requested to raise any
further points which occur to you.
1. Section 53, Comments f to i.
Do these Comiments fix the borderline between es-
tates in determinable fee simple and estates for life,
with clarity and accuracy?
2. Section 56, Comment b.
What, if any, liability for waste exists as against
the owner of an estate in determinable fee simple?
How useful in this conmection is such material as is
given in this Comment?
3. Section 58, Comment c.
Does this Comment give the most practical adjust-
inent of the conflicting interests of (1) the owner of an
undivided interest not subject to the possibility of re-
verter who wishes partition and (2) the owner of the
possibility of reverter in another undivided share who
does not object to partition but wishes his possibility
protected? Compare Section 70.
4. Section 60.
Is it sound to treat dower as a derivative estate
rather than as an interest able to continue after the de-
feat of the husband's estate? Compare Sections 72, 117,
126 and 135.
