PROPOSED FINAL DRAFTS Nos. 4 and 5
Questions Suggested for Discussion at
Twelfth Annual Meeting
May 10-12, 1934
Discussion is not confined to the questions pre-
sented here. You are earnestly requested to raise any
further points which occur to you.
PROPOSED FINAL DRAFT NO. 4.
§ 42, page 48. Domicil of a Corporation. This
Section stated that A corporation is domiciled in the
State where it was incorporated and cannot acquire a
domicil outside that State. Should the Section be
omitted?
§ 52, page 58. Chattels brought into a state with-
out consent of owner. The Section limited the juris-
diction of the state into which it was brought over the
chattel. In a new Caveat to § 51 the Institute expressly
refrains from taking any position on the subject.
Should the Section be omitted?
§ 60A, page 61. Can this Section be sustained in
view of the decision in Bradford Electric Co. v. Clapper,
286 U. S. 145; and see Ohio v. Chattanooga B. & T. Co.,
289 U. S. 439.
§ 100, page 75. Note that the action of the re-
porter and advisers has been reversed on this Section.
