Dr. Gerhart Husserl,
National University School of Law,
8I Thirteenth Street, N. W.,
IWashington,.-D.
Dec.r Husserl:
I suppose you think that it is useless to send me
Virginia Law Reviews or other Reviews in which you write articles.
That is not so., though sometimes it takes me some time to get around
to them. I have, however, read in the last few days Global War and
the Law of' Nations and want to thank you for giving ne a thoroughly
good time. I was especially interested in the work of Victoria of
-whom I knew practically nothing. The conclusion which you drew in the
last two paragraphs of your article appeals to me as just right. Your
article is a permanent contribution to our information in respect to
the history of the law of nations and its development. besides being, as
stated, very interesting.
I hope you and your wife and daughter, to whom my remem-
berances, are well.
Very sincerely,

EL-et
