 Actions at the 1964 Annual Meeting

           At the Annual Meeting held in Chicago in December, 1964,
 Professor Myres S. McDougal of Yale Law School was chosen as President-
 Elect and Dean Hardy C. Dillard and Professor Joseph T. Sneed were
 elected to the Executive Committee. Accordingly, the Executive
 Committee for 1965 consists of the following:

           Vernon X. Miller, Catholic University, President
           Myres S. McDougal, Yale, President-Elect
      Serving during 1965:
           Alfred F. Conard, Michigan
           Robert B. McKay, New York University
      Serving during 1965-66:
           Hardy C. Dillard, Virginia
           Joseph T. Sneed, Stanford

           By vote of the Association, Duquesne University School of Law
 was admitted to membership in the AALS.

           The amendment to the Articles of Association that had been
 proposed by the Special Committee on Graduate Instruction, for which
 notices had been distributed in the fall and which was published in
 the program for the meeting, was tabled, during the General Session of
 December 28th, with the general understanding that the subject would
 again be discussed at the 1965 Annual Meeting.

           The Annual Meeting for 1965 will be held at the Edgewater Beach
 Hotel in Chicago on December 28-30, 1965. Any suggestions for improving
 the program and service will be welcomed.


 Memoranda on Supreme Court Decisions

           The project for the preparation and the distribution of memor-
 anda describing, for the benefit of the members of the press, the issues
 in pending Supreme Court decisions was described in the report that
 appears on page 164 of Part One of the Proceedings for the 1964 Annual
 Meeting. Copies of the memoranda are being mailed regularly to a sub-
