KATHRYN L. TUCKER'

1. Ms. Tucker has served as Director of Legal Affairs, Compassion & Choices
since 1996. Prior to this, she was in private practice with Perkins Coie in Seattle, WA.
She teaches Law, Medicine and Ethics at the End of Life at law schools, including
the University of Washington, Seattle University and Loyola/Los Angeles. Professor
Tucker has been involved in many of the cases and campaigns discussed herein. She is
a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center. Ms. Tucker extends special thanks
to Mary Anne Davies, Loyola Law School, JD candidate 2012, for her able assistance
in preparing this article.
