                          ORDER GRANTING EXEMPTION

By application filed February 27, 1975, Johnson Flying Service, Inc.,
hereinafter referred to as the applicant, requests an emergency exemption

(the Act), in order to operate a round-trip single entity passenger charter

question; that approximately 40 persons will be transported to Guatemala to
relieve the present drilling crew, and approximately 25 persons will be
brought back to the United States for a rest; that arrangements with the
charterer were just finalized, thus resulting in the late filing; that in
the conduct of this service it will utilize its Lockheed Electra aircraft
at a total price of $12,520; and that none of the authorized air carriers
will object to grant of the requested exemption. 1/

In view of the iminence of the proposed operation, we will act on this
