Applications of Mackey International, Inc., for exemption authority pursuant to sec- /
  tion 416(b) of the Federal Aviation Act of 1958, as amended
                 ORDER  GRANTINo ExEPToNs

  On  October 18, 1974, Mackey International, Inc. (Mackey), filed
an application for renewal of the exemption authority granted by
orders 72-12-124 and 73-4-15,1 which permits the carrier to utilize
prop-driven aircraft with a maximum seating capacity of 44 in: (1)
scheduled foreign air transportation between West Palm  Beach,
Fort Lauderdale, and Miami, Fla., on the one hand, and 13 points
in the Bahamas,2 on the other; and between West Palm Beach and
Fort Lauderdale, on  the one hand,  and  Nassau  and Freeport,
Bahamas,  on the other; and (2) charter foreign air transportation
between points in Florida and points in the Bahamas. The carrier
requests that the authority be renewed for a period of 2 years from
December  29, 1974.
  Subsequently, on October 30, 1974, Mackey filed an application
for renewal of the exemption authority granted by order 74-5-363
which  permits the carrier to use prop-driven aircraft of up to 90
seats in scheduled service in 17 city-pair markets involving three




   Mackey has invoked the automatic extension provisions of 5 U.S.C. 558(c).
   2 Andros Town, Bimini, Chub Cay, Georgetown, Governors Harbour, Great Har-
bour Cay, Marsh Harbour, North Eleuthera, San Andros, San Salvador, Stella
Maris, Treasure Cay, and West End.
