No. 6698 et al, VIO Approves agreements involving Northwest Airlines and Western Air Lines, various other air carriers, and other carriers, relating to intercompany arrangements. Authorizes National Airlines to inaugurate nonstop ser- vice, on or about Jan. I, 1953, between New York and Newark, and Havana, Cuba. Denies petition of J. *Ashton .Greene, International Air Forwarding Services, for reconsideration of Board order E-6755, and request for an oral hearing on application for a letter of registration.: Not released during this reriod. Grants Braniff Airwys a temporary exemption from the provisions of sec. 401 (a) of the Act and the terms, conditions, and limitations of its certificate so es to permit it to'serve Mason City and Fort Dodge, iowa, on the same flight, until 60 days after final action of the Board on Braniff's application for amendmient to its certificate. (Docket 5841). Institutes investigation of, and suspends through April 14, 1953, increased joirt fares betmeen Los Angeles, Calif., and Reno, Nev., and Sacramento, Calif., pro- posed by Bonanza Air Lines, Southwast Airuays Company, Trans TVorld Airlines, United ;;ir Lines, and 7!estern Air Lines. Authorizes North Central Airlines to omit service at Thief River Falls, inn., on route No. 86, on one daily southbound flight scheduled to arrive during hours of darkness until May 1,- 1953, or until adequate lighting facilities are available at the Thief River Falls Municipal Airport. Approves, until 60 days after final disposition by the Board of the application in Docket No. 5770, and subject to stated conditions, the interlocking relationships now or hereafter existing as a result of the holding of posi- tions by Robert B.
