      DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION REGARDING
              ABANDONED MERCHANDISE

AGENCY:   U.S. Customs and  Border Protection, Department of
Homeland Security; Department of the Treasury.
ACTION:   Notice of proposed rulemaking.
SUMMARY: This   document proposes to amend the U.S. Customs
and Border Protection (CBP) regulations pertaining to disclosure of
information regarding merchandise bearing suspected counterfeit
trademarks. The proposed amendment would create a procedure for
the disclosure of information otherwise protected by the Trade Se-
crets Act to a trademark owner when merchandise bearing suspected
counterfeit trademarks has been voluntarily abandoned.
DATES:  Comments  on the proposed rule must be received on or
before October 28, 2019.
