  The petition of the undersigned respectfully
shows:
  That your petitioners are citizens of the United
State., and residents of the City, County and State
of New York, Southern District of Now York.
  That during the month Of Octol)er, 1S7S, and at
the time of the election held on the 5th day of
November, 157T, each one of your 1)etitioners was
(1lv entitled to register and vote in the several elec-
tion districts in which your petitioners respectively
resided in the City of New York.
  Your petitioners further show, that they are nat-
uralized citizen, and that the proceedings for their
naturalization were held in the Superior Court of the
City of New York, or in the First Judicial Depart-
ment of the Supreme Court of the State of New
York, during the year ISGS. That there was issued
