BALTIMORE: 1950 * Appointed June 8, 1949, effective October 1, 1949. The cases published in this volume were reported by Mr. Malcolm J. Coan, State Reporter prior to October 1, 1949. The Index, Names of the Judges, etc., and the Case Reported were prepared by the present Reporter. In preparing the Index, the system heretofore used has been followed except that more than the usual number of cross-references have been made. A table of Cases Cited, heretofore included, has been omitted. Such tables have been seldom, if ever, used since Shephard's Citations was first published, so far as the Reporter has been able to ascertain.
