CHAPTER 1.
AN ACT to apportion the state of Wisconsin
into senate and assembly districts.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, repre-
sented in senate and assenbly, do enact as fol-
lows:
SECTION 1. Until there shall be a new appor. SenateMs.
tionment, the senators shall be apportioned among tIicts,
the several districts of this state, as hereinafter
mentioned, and each district shall be entitled to
elect one senator.
The counties of Door, Kewaunee and Marinette Firt.
shall constitute the First senate district.
The counties of Brown and Oconto shall con- Second.
stitute the Second senate district.
The counties of Racine and Kenosha shall con- Third.
stitute the Third senate district.
The First, Third, Seventh, Thirteenth and Fourth.
Fighteenth wards of the city of Milwaukee, in
the county of Milwaukee, shall constitute the
Fourth senate district.
The Fifth, Eighth, Twelfth, Fifteenth and Six- Fifth.
teenth wards of the city of Milwaukee, in the
county of Milwaukee, shall constitute the Fifth
senate district.
The Second, Fourth, Sixth and Ninth wards of Sixth.
