ORDINANCE
to Amend the Ordinance Concerning Motor Vehicular Traffic and
Taxes thereon.
Be it enacted by the Municipal Council of Saint Croix in session assembled:
Section 1. That the Ordinance concerning motor vehicular traffic and taxes thereon,
as amended by the Ordinance approved November 24, 1939, and as further amended and
approved, be and the same is hereby further amended as follows:
Charge the . at the end of Section 11 to a ; and add the following pro-
viso: Provided, that during the period when only one license plate is issued,
in the event of the loss of such license plate another one will be issued on pay-
ment of the fee of 50c,
Change the . at the end of Section 19 to a : and add the following
proviso: Provided, that during the war emergency, the issuance of single li-
cense plates to be carried on the rear of vehicles shall be considered sufficient
compliance with this section.
Thus duly passed in the first ordinary meeting of the Municipal Council of St. Croix,
held Monday, January 8, 1945.
