RESOLUTION-
Be it resolved by the Municipal Council for the Municipality of St. Croix in session
assembled:
That the Governor of the Virgin Islands be and he hereby is authorized to enter
into and execute, for and on behalf of the Municipality of Saint Croix, any agree-
ment or contract with the Director of the Bureau of Prisons of the United States
Government for the imprisonment, subsistence, care and proper employment in
the local jail of the Municipality of any persons held under authority of any United
States statute, and for the same may contract for a reasonable per diem rate of
payment.
Thus duly passed at an extraordinary meeting of the Municipal Council held
Monday, February 8, 1937.
