BEGUN AND HELD AT 'THIE CITY OF ALBANY, TilE
FIRST DAY OF JANUARY, 182B.
TCHAPTER 1.
AN ACT to alter the time of holding the next Cir-
cuit Court and Court of Oyer and Terminer, in
the City and County of Albany.
Passed January 4, 1828.
The People qf the State of New- York, iepresented in
Senate and Assembly, do enact as follows:-
§ 1. The next circuit court, and court of oyer and ter- Court,
miner, and jail delivery, in and for the city and county of
Albany, shall lie held at the capitol in the said city, on the
last Tuesday of January instant, instead of the first Tues-
day of February next, as appointed by the circuit judge of
the third circuit.
§ 2. All causes which have been or shall be duly noticed Causei
for trial in the said circuit court for the first Tuesday ofnlticed.
February next, may be brought to trial therein on or after
that day, in the same manner as if this act had not been
passed ; and all causes noticed for trial in the said court for
the last Tuesday )f January instant, may be brought to
trial therein on or after that (lay.
§ 3. Instead of the time required by the laws now in Jurorg.
force, for giving notice of the drawing of grand and petit
jurors for the said courts, it shall be sufficient for the clerk
of the city and county of Albany, to give six lays' notice
thereof for the courts herein appointed to be held on the
last Tuesday of .anuary instant.
