CHAP. CCLX.
AN ACT authorising the Assessment and Collection/ a  Tax ill
the Town of Le Roy.
Passed November 6, 182,1.
WITEREAS tile freeholders and inhabitants of the towl of Le ,'rambiv
Roy in the coufty'of Genesee, at their lust annual town meeting,
voted to raise, by a tax upon the inhabitants t'said town, the sum of
eight hundred dollars, for the purpose of contributing to the building
of a permanent bridge over Allen's creek in said town, in addition
to the sum of two thousand dollars authurised and directed to be
gossessed and collected by the board of supervisors of said county,
by an act entitled  An act to authorise the board of supervisors of
Genesee county to raise money to build a bridge over Allen's creek
in the town of be loy, passed February twenty-first, eighteen
hundred and tweuty-four : 'herefire,
BE it enacted by the People of the State 0j' New-York, repre- D0Soo to .
seated in Senate and Assembly, That the supervisor and town
clerk of the town of Le Roy, le, and they are hereby authorised
and required to cause to be assessed, levied and collected upon and
from the freeholders and inhabitants of said town, the sum of eight
hundred' dollars ; which assessment shall be made upon, and in pro-
portion and according to the last assessment list or roll of said town,
in the same manner that other monies and the contingent taxes and
charges of said town are by law assessed; for which purpose they are
hereby ainhorised and required to make and issue their warrant to
the collector of said town of Le Roy, and the same money shall be
levied and collected by the collector of said town in the same man.
