' I-IERFAS Thomas Elliott, David Porter, Thomas Cole, Levin Hall, Daniel Howland, John V V Snider, Jofeph White, Tobias Stanfbury, Peter Sharp, and others, have formed thenufelves into a fociety, with the charitable view of affording relief to the difireffed widows and orphans of members of the faid fociety, and for other laudable purpofes they have prayed an ade of incorpora- tion; and the legiflature being defirous of promoting ruch benevolent and humane undertakings, have granted the fame ; therefore, Perfans incor. II. BF IT ENACTED, by the General A.embly of Maryland, That Thomas Elliott, David Porter, porated, &c. Thomas Cole, Levin Hall, Daniel Howland, John Snider, Jofeph White, Tobias Stanibury, Peter Sharp, and others that now are or may herearter become fubfcribers and contributors to the faid corporation herein eredled, and may be admitted into the faid corporation agreeable to the rules and by-laws of the fame, and their fucciffors, are hereby declared to be one community, corporation and body
