ORDER ON YE PETN OF YE NORTH & WEST INHABT OF FRAMINGHAM
FOR A HEARING.
eg,' the UPON THE PETITION of the Northern and Western Inhabitants of the
Council, xiii., Town of Framingham; [ praying that another Committee may be
1s. Appointed to View the Said Town and Report the Place for Setting
use our. the Meeting House on, or otherwise that the Petitioners may be Sett
Ante, p. 5D, off a Seperate and Distinct Precinct:]
chap. 152. Ordered that a Hearing be had on this Petition before the Court on
Wednesday ye fourteenth of December next, And that the Petitioners
Serve the Town of Framingham with a Copy of this Order, That so
they may Shew Cause at the Hearing; Why the Prayer of the Petition
Should not be Granted: Unless the Parties agree in the meanTime,
Which this Court earnestly recommend to them; The whole Charge to
be born by the Petitionr
Ordered, that the Justices of the Inferiou Court of Common Pleas
for the County of Middlesex be Impowered and Directed at their Next
Sessions to be held at Charlestown to Continue over to the then next
Term any Action or Actions depending in the Said Court respecting
the Meeting House in ye Town of Framingham or Place for Erecting
the Same upon, Any Law Usage or Custom to the Contrary Notwith-

Resolved that the Sum of Fifteen pounds be allowed and paid out of
the publick Treasury (over and above the Annual Pension y' Petitionr
receives) to Richard Kent Esqr to be by him repaid to the Petitioner
in Consideration of the Misfortunes and Difficulties he has undergone
the last Year occationed by his Said Wounds. [Passed November 28.
