H FIEREAS the Overfefrs and Corporation of Hamrard College Preamble, VV have reprefented to this Court the inconvenience to which the Students at the faid College arefubjic.. d,for want of an additional build. ing, and it is inconvenient, at prefent, to make a grant from the public Treafury therefor ; BE it ena4led by the Senate and Houfe of Reprefentatives, in General Court afembled, and by the authority of the fame, That the fum of eight thoufand poinds be raifed by Lottery, for the purpofe of creiling a building at Cambri/ge, for the accommodation of the y6uth at the U- niverfity ther6, and that the 14oidzable Benjamin Auflin, jun. George R. Mlnot, Samuel Cooper, and Henry Warren, Efquires$ and Mr. Yobn Knee- land, be, and they hereby are appointed Managers of faid Lottery, Mauagers. wvhofe bufinefs it fliall be from time to time, to make and publifh fuch - their duty, feheme or fehemes as fhall in their bpinion, beft promote the purpofes of faid Lottery, and for drawing faid Lottery, and tranfa&ing the other bufifiefs thereof.
