2000 vol. III pt. B [i] (2000)

handle is hein.ssl/ssky0008 and id is 1 raw text is: FOREWORD TO PAPERBOUND VOLUMES

For the 2000 Regular Session of the Kentucky General Assembly, the Legislative
Research Commission is again issuing its official edition of the session laws in both
hardbound and paperbound versions. Pagination within the two versions is identical. The
three volumes of the hardbound edition have each been divided into three parts for the
paperbound version.
In each paperbound volume, the table of chapter and page assignments of bills and
resolutions has been printed as preliminary matter following this foreword and the
Attorney General's opinion on the normal effective date. The complete table of contents is
given at the beginning of Volume I, Part A, of the paperbound version; volume tables of
contents for Volumes II and H of the hardbound version are found at the front of Volume
II, Part A, and Volume III, Part A, of the paperbound version. No separate tables of
contents have been prepared for the paperbound volumes. The various lists, tables, and
indexes for the Acts that are included at the end of each of the three volumes of the
hardbound version will be issued in a separate pamphlet subsequent to the publication of
the paperbound volumes in order to expedite distribution of this version of the Acts.
The information contained in the Kentucky Acts is also available in electronic
format on the Internet at the Kentucky Legislature's WorldWideWeb site
(http://www.lrc.state.ky.us/home.htm). Through the release of the Acts in electronic
format and in b3th paperbound and hardbound versions, the session laws and the various
tables associated with them will be made available sooner for those who need this
information and will still be provided in a more permanent form for those retaining the
session laws for reference purposes.
