No. 757 (House Bill No. 1228). AN ACT To repeal an Act entitled An Act to create and incorporate the City of Mountain View, in the County of Clayton, Georgia, and grant a charter to that municipality under that name and style; to prescribe and define the corporate limits thereof; to provide a mu- nicipal government for said city, and to declare the rights, powers, privileges and liabilities of said corporation; to authorize said city to levy and collect a tax for purposes authorized herein; to authorize the construction of waterworks, sewers, streets, parks, and to provide for the payment of the same; to provide for granting fran- chises to persons, firms or corporations for construction and mainte- nance of public utilities; to declare and define the police powers of said city; to declare and define the duties and powers of the officers of said city; to provide for the election of a mayor and council of said city; to provide for passage of ordinances and granting licenses for the conduct of business; to provide for a referendum before this Act becomes effective; and for other purposes., approved February 23, 1956 (Ga.
