the thirteenth year of the reign of his late Majcfty
George the Second, (a) hath made no provifion for
inaking ditches, hedges or ftone walls, inclofing
lands, lawful fences; For remedying whereof, and for
the encouraging of fuch fpecies of inclofures,
SECTION    i. BE it enaded by the honorable John
Penn, efq. with his AlajeJfy's royal approbation, Lieutenant
Governor   and  Commander in Chief of the counties of
New-Cafle, Kent and Suffl'x, upon Delaware, and pro-
vince of  Pennjylvania, by and with the advice and
confent of the Reprefentatives of the freemen of the
faid counties, in General Agjembly met, and by the au-
