E it therefore Enatied by the tcverntor, Council, and Re- prefentatives, in General Court affembled, and by the dutho.. rity of the fime, That for the future the Price for Labour in the Farmirig Way, in the Summer Seafon, fhall nor exceed Three Shillings per Diem, and fo in the ufual Pro- portioti at other Seafbohs of the Year ; and other Labour to bc computed, and of Mechanicks and Tradefmen according to the Ufages and CuRoms that have heretofore been adopted and prac- tified in the diffrent Parts of this State, compared with Farming Labour ahd the Prices hereafter fet and eftablifhed. That the Prices of the following Articles at the Place of Market, fhall not exceed the ftveral Sums hereafter mentioned, viz.
