town, shall be and the same is hereby made a part of the town of Salem,
as if the same had been included within tile original limits thereof, and
together with the proprietors thereof, andi persons residingF upon or oc-

the said land or lots, and also in relation to their persons and personal
property, as persons residing upon or owning or occupying land and
lots or other property within the original or fornier limits of said town
of Salem.

for other purposes.

Limlts of War. 1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That tile corporate limits of
renton enlarged. the town of Warronton in the county of Fauquier, as heretofore estab-
lislied by law, shall be and tie same are hereby exteuded and cilarged,
so as to include within the same so much land as lies or is contained
within the boundary line described atil proposed by tile report of a coin-
mittee appointed by tile common council of said town, an(d adopted by
said common council on the sixteenth (lay of February eighteen hundred
loundartes, and fifty; but for greater certainty, more particularly set out and de-
scribed by metes and hounds, hearings ant distances, in a survey and
plat bcaring (late the sixteenth of February eighteen hundred and fifty,
made by It. MI. Smith and returned with the report aforesaid, to wit:
beginning at a point oii tile south side of a road running between Jolin
Leary oil the north and John L. Pant aind John Kemper on tile south,
and where the dividing line of said lunt and Kemnper intersects the said
road; thence south forty-six and a half degrees west one hundred and
seventy-four, ninety-fivo poles, crossing the intersection of Lee street
continued, and the main road leading from Warrenton to Falinouth to a
point in a dividing felce on tile lanid owned or occupied by William
Smith; thence through the land of said Smith north fifty-two and a
quarter degrees, west one hundred and forty-seven, forty-five poles,
crossing tie main road from WVarrenton to Culpeper courthouse to a
point on or near the south-east side of Dr. S. It. Fisher's garden; tllec
north twenty-nine uand one-lalf degrees, cast forty-two poles, to a point
in Robert Gordon's lot, near tile line of said Gordon ant Fisher; thence
north fifty-five degrees west, twenty-six, six poles to a point in the
south-west corner of Ann lirookes' lot; thence north nineteen degrees
east, one hundred and seventy-seven, fifty-five poles, passing through
John Smith's land by a large stone, crossing the main road from War-
renton to Chester's Gap, to a point in said Smith's land near a large
poplar tree; thence south sixty-seven degrees cast oiie hundred and
forty-six aud an half'poles, crossing the maii road from Warrenton to
Winchester, and the turnpike from Warrenton to Alexandria, to a point
