1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That hereafter when insolvent deblor
any person taken or charged in execution, shall seek to bo discharged by ,e ischred
as an insolvent debtor, any justice of tile peace for that county or
corporation wherein such person shall be in custody, may issue his
warrant to cause such person to be brought before him, or some other
jusiiec of the.peace for the same county or corporation, at the court-
house thereof; and the justice so issuing his warrant, or any other
justice of the same county or corporation, may thereupon administer
the oath prescribed in such case, and grant a warrant for the dis-
charge of the prisoner, in like manner as two justices of the peace
are authorized to do by the thirty-first and thirty-third sections of the In. Code 1810, p.
