CHAP. XXII.-AN ACT concerning bonds on appeals, writs of error and
supcrscdeas.

Imed, upo p appeal, writ of error or suprsedeas, allowed or granted by the su-
Pe~,', preme court of appeals, or any judge thereof, in which bonds with
surety arc required by law, for the prosecution of such appeal, writ
of error or supierscdras, such bonds shall be taken by the clerk of
the court which rendered the judgment or decree sought to be re-
versed, and not by the clerk of the court of appeals.
