'TIHEREAS it appears to the General Assembly that the
Frombl,       V   County Court of Chestorfield did pondeniut! to death for
the crime ofBurglary two negro men slaves, one by the name
of Cyrus Archer, the propeiy of William Archer ;, hl other
by the mnime of Dick, the property of Harry 11Bh; each value4
at four ,hundred dollars ; who, beore their execution,' broke
jeil and made their escape, and have never since been heard

venty seven, Lilly Bowen paid into th Public Loan Office the
sum of one hundred pounds paper money ; the evidence of
,vhioh payment was delivered to Arthur Campbell, and has
been since lost or mislaid;
A certificate of  1, 1ie it helercfore enacted. by the General IssCnbly, That
sotbdebti direct. the Treasurer of this Commaewealih be, and he Is hereby
ed t6 be issued required to deliver to the said Lilly Bowen or her legal're.

pr esntatives.  the scale of depreciation, of the paper muoney deposited !n the
.     .      Loan Office aforesaid, on the tenth day of November seven-
