JOINT RESOLUTION in relation to Public Printingfor the Ninth Legislature.
Be it Resolved by the Legislature of the State of Texas, That the Secretary of
State, Comptroller, and Treasurer, or a majority of them, be required to pro-
ceed immediately after the adjournient of the Ninth Legislature to contract
for the Public Printlng as nearly us may be in accordance with existing laws
and that this resolution take effect, froin and after its passage.

JOINT;RESOLUTION yr6rviding for the sale of Oldhan 'and White's Digest.
SEcTION I1' Be it. enacted 'by the Legislature of the State of' T zas, That it
shall be the duty of thb Secretary of State, after, advertisement in not less thati
three newspapers in the State, to sell the copies of Oldham and White's Digest
now il his office bel9nging to the State, at such. prices as he may deii pro-
ior, but in no event at less than the original cost per volume, including th6
expensd of sale.' Provided, however, that the Secretary of State shall reservQ
from sale a sufficlent-numblr, of said Digests to supply the varibus officers of
the S tate as required by la w . I ; I , . ' .
'Svc. 2. The Secretary'of Statd shall pay into the State Tieasury quarterly,
the proceeds arising from the sale of said digests and this resolution shall be
in force from and after its passage,.

'America, and to the'world, her sottled conviction of the wantonInjustice 'of
the war now waged against them by.the Nortliern States, and of her uinfqlter-
ing determination to co-operate with her sister States' in lirohecuting the war
to a triumphant termination by all means, and at all hazards. And, Whereas,
