An Act to authorize and require all forced sales of Real Estate and Negroes, and Sales of Real Estate or Negroes, made by Executors and Administrators in the County of Calhoun, to be made at the door of the Casimer House, in the city of Indianola. 1857 35 (1857)

shall cause notice of the time and place of holding said elec-
tion to be posted ten days previous thereto at three or more
public places in said county. The said election shall be con-
ducted in all respects as other elections for county officers.
SEC. 2. That the said James Dawson also be authorized
to administer the necessary oath of office to the persons who
may be elected at said election.
SEM. 3. That the town of Presidio dcl Norte be and the
same is hereby declared the county seat of said county.
SEc. 4. That this Act take eiect from and after its pas-
sage, and that all laws and parts of laws, conflicting herewith,
be and the same are hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 37.
A N ACT to authorize and require all forced sales of   I
Estate and negroes, and sales of Real Estate or negroes,
made by executors and administrators in the county of Gal-
houn, to be made at the door of the Oasimer House, it the
city of Indianola.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Rtate
qf Texas, That all forced sales hereafter to be made of Real
Estate or negroes, and all sales made by executors and admin-
istrators of Real Estate or negroes, in the county of Cal-
houn, shall be made at the door of the Casimer House in the
city of Indianola ; and that all laws and parts of laws, con-
flicting herewith, be' and the same are hereby repealed. Pro.
vided, that should the county seat be by law removed from
the city of Indianola, then, and in that case, the said sales
shall bn made at the Court House of said county.
SEC. 2. That this Act be in force and take effect from and
after the first day of February, A. D. 1858.
