AN ACT supplementa? to Au Act to authorize the Location,
Sale and Settlement of the Mississippi and Paciflc Railroad
Reserve.
SEeTJO 1. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State
of Teras, That so much of the second Section of the above
recited Act, as requires the settlers to pay for their claim, not
to exceed one hundred and sixty acres, by thefirst day of Jan-
uary, 1859, b. and the same is hereby extended to the first day
of Oetobr, A. D. 1859 ; and should any person fail to pay for
his or her land by that time, the land so claimed by him, shall
be subject to re-location as other public domain belonging to
the State.
Bc. 2. That said settlers shall not be compelled to return
their field notes to the General Land Office, until the first day
of April, 1858 ; and that this Act take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.

SncTIoN 1. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State
f Texas, That all Forced Sales hereafter to be made of Real
Estate or Negroes, and all Sales made by Executors and Ad-
ministrators of Real Estate or Negroes, in the County of Travis,
shall be made on Congress Avenue, at the South-East corner
of Block No. 70 ; and that all laws and parts of laws conflict-
ing heiewith, be and the same are hereby repealed.
0SEC. 2. That. this Act take effect and be in force from and
after its passage.
