associates are hereby croated and establishbd a body corpora to
and politic, under the name and title of thq, Harrison Man-
ufacturing Coal]ny, with cap~acityin Aid'I;orporatb namno

to make contracts, to have succession an(  commLon seal, to
irake by-lars for the government and regulItion of'its affairs,
to sue and be sued, to )lead and be inipleaded, to 'grant and
receive, and do and performi all such acts and things as may
be necessary or proper for or incident to the fullfillinent of its
obligations or the maintenance of its rights under this act
and consistent with the Constitution.
SEC. 2. Said company is hereby invested with the rights,
power and authority to own erect, cstablish, maintain and.
operate a cotton and Woollen nmanuflictory, separately or con-
jointly in the county of Iiarrison, Or at smtch place as they
may designate, With a capital Stock of five hundred thousand
dollars, to'be invested in the purchase of lands, buildings,
machinery, mills, looms, spindles &c tbgether with the tights
