An Act to legalize certain Acts and Records of the tierk of the
County Court of Lamar County,
Whereas, during the nminths of February, March, April, May
and June of the yer 1851, the County Seal of Lamar county
was lost or stolen; therefore,
SECTION 1. Be it enaeld ly th Leqgislature (f the State of
Te,'as, That all the acts anl records of* the County Clerk of La-
mar County, attested by his ivate Seal, and bearing dates in
either of the months sp Jeci ied in the ]reamble to this act, be,
and the same arc hereby declared as valid ats if the same ]iad
been attested by tihe or'igihd Seal cf said County Court; a)d
that this act take eflect and be in three from  and after its pas-
sage.

CHAPTER XIII.
An Act to provide for the erection of Public Buildings in Kauf-
man (t'ounty.
SECIOnN 1. Be it enaoted by th' Leqlb~lature of the State f
Txae, That the Commissioners appointed by an act, entitled a Tl
act to, locate the Iat of justice of Kaufman county, approved
December 2nd, 1850, be, and they are hereby authorized and
required to causeto be erected at theseat of justice of said coun-
ty, a suitable Courthouse, jail anl other 1)blic buildings, to be
paid for out of the proceeds of the sales of town lots at said
county seat, and said Commissioners are hereby directed and
required, to apply said funds or a sufficiency thereof, to that
p pose.
SEc. 2. That after the erection of the public building; provided
for in the first section of this act, said Commissioners shall pay
over to the County Treasurer of said county, whatever balance
there is remaining in their hands of said KInds for the use of
said county.
