For the relief of Caroline Johnson.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
Republic of Texas in Congress assembled, That Caroline John-
son, widow of the l4te Amos Johnson, deceased, be, and she
is hereby, authorized to withdraw the negroes, and other per-
sonal property, belonging to the estate of the said Amos
Johnson deceased, from the control and supervision of the
Probate Court.
SE. 2. 13e it further enacted, That previous to the with-
drdwal of the said negroes from the control nnd supervision
of tl.e Probate Court, as provided in the first Eection of this
act, the said Caroline Johnson, be, and she is hereby re-
quired, to pay off all debts due from said estate and all costs
ofcourt.
SEC. 3. Be it further enacted, That the Probate Court, in
which the succession of the estate of the said Amos Johnson,
deceased, has been opened, be, and is hereby, prohibited,
frotm issuing any order fbr the sale of any real estate, be-
longing to said succession, during the minority of the heirs
of the said Amos Johnson, deceased, but, shhil hold the
said real estate, as security fbr the faithful performance of
all the conditions of the bond filed by the said Caroline John-
son, as administratrix of said estate.
' SE . 4. Be it further enacted, That thiq act take effect from
and after its passage.

the dwelling house of George T. Holman, residing on and
