Po authorize the Gommissioner of the General Lead Ofice tU
employ two .additional clerks,
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
of the Republic of Texas in Congress assembled, That tile
kwommissioner of the General Land Office be and he is hereby
authorized and empovered to employ two additional clerks in the
Land Office, at a salary not exceeding fifteen hundred dollars
each per annum, and that the sum of three thousand dollars is
hereby appropriated for that purpose.
