WHEREAS, This House has frequently been reduced below a quorum by members absenting themselves, with- out leave; therefore, be it Resolved by the House of Representatives of the State of Tennessee, That no member shall be allowed any per diem during his absence without leave. Resolved, further, That no member shall be allowed leave of absence, when it will reduce this House below a quorum, except in case of sickness. WILLIAM HEISKELL, Speaker of the House of Representatives. Adopted October 31, 1865. NUMBER XXXI. HOUSE RESOLUTION Directory to the Committee on Freedmen. Resolved by the House of Representatives of the State of Tennesesee, That the Committee on Freedmen, be, and are hereby requested to report a bill for the consideration of this House, which shall in its provisions remove the neces- sity for the Freedmen's Bureau in this State.
