CHAPTER 111.
AN ACT granting Appeals in Certain Cases.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State
of Tennessee, That either party, in cases of contested
elections, under the act of 1854, chapter 32, may, if they
desire, have an appeal to the Supreme Court, and that
it shall be in all respects governed by the same rules
and regulations as other Chancery causes.

CHAPTER 112.
AN ACT to Amend the Practice in the Trial of Criminal Cases, and for other pur-
poses.
SECTION 1. Be Et enacted by the General Assembly 0f the
State of Tennesscc, That hereafter, in all cases of fel-
ony, where it shall be made satisfactory to appear to the
Court where the indictment is pending, that from undue
excitement against the prisoner in the County where the
offence was committed, or any other fact that a fair trial
could not probably be had there, it shall be the duty of
the court, with the assent of the prisoner, to remove the
trial of the cause to any adjoining County where the
same causes do not exist.
SEc. 2. Be it enacted, That it shall be the duty of the
Clerk of' the Court, in case of such changes of venue, inClrag dos
to send the indictment and all other papers in the case, venue.
together with a copy of the order of the court removing
the cause, properly authenticated, to the court of the
County where such cause is removed for trial; and it
shall be there tried as in other cases of change of venue.
SEC. 3. Be it enacted, That the Chancery Courts at
Jasper, Pikeville, Sparta, Livingston, Jamestown, Mont-
gomery, Kinston, Decatur, and Washington, in the Fifth
Chancery Division, shall hereafter be held at the times
following, to wit:-At Jasper, on the second Mondays of Time orhonoiun
March and September; at Pikeville, on the third Mon-  cors
days of March and September; at Sparta, on the fourth
Mondays of March and September; at Livingston, on
