Be it 7Cacted by /thC GCncral Asscnbly of the State of Tenncsscc, 'I'hat for the purpose of establish- Inworporatin ing a communication by railroad, between the cities of Lexington, Kentucky, and Knoxville, Tennessee, the formation of a company to be called the Lexington and Knoxville Railroad Company, is lierebyauthorized, which when formed, shall have corporate existence in each of the States aforcsaid. Sec. 2. Ie it cnacted, That said company shall have the power to run said road from any other town or point in Kentuchy, which may he nearer to Knoxville than Lexington Provided, Said town or point has immediate railroad connection with Lexington.
