Be it enacted by the General fsenbly of the prescribed. State of Tennessee, That John May of the county of M'- Minn, shall have until the first day of October 1834, to pay the State for the north west quarter section of land, section three, first fractional township south, range first west of the Meredian in the Iliwassee District; and that he shall have all the discounts, both as to principal and in- terest, that is extended to purchasers under the act of As- sembly, passed December 1, 1831, for the relief of pur- chasers, or to dispose of the forfeited lands purchased at the Hiwassee land sales in the year 1820. Land to be sold SEc. 2. Be it enacted, That if the said May should fail on failure to or refuse to pay for said land by the first of October 1834, ply. that said land shall be disposed of by the Entry Taker of the Hiiwassee District, as is now prescribed by the before recited act. Stephen Lytle SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General dssenbly of the n ?aily. State of Tennessee, That Stephen Lytle, a man of color, and nlancipated. his wife Charity and his daughter Mary Shepherd, be, and they are hereby, emancipated without being compelled to leave this State, upon the said Stephen giving bond and sufficient security to the county court of' Davidson, for their good behaviour, and also that they will not become a public charge.
