Be it enacted by the Generul Assembly of the State of Ten- uessee, That the county or circuit court of Blount county, be, and is hereby authorized to emancipate Hardy, former- ly the slave of William Boyd, deceased, late of Blount county, under the rules and regulations of the law as it ex- isted before the passage of the act of 1831, chapter 102, any law to the contrary notwithstanding.
