Be it enacted by the General J/ssembly of the te' to State of Tennessee, That Zachariah Robinson, a free man aren to this of color, of Gibson county, be, and he is hereby, authori- state. zed and permitted to remove his children from the State of North Carolina to the State of Tennessee, to reside there- in. To give bond SEC. 2. Be itenacted, That the said Zachariah Robinson o hie ood shall give bond and good security, to the chairman of the 'county court of Gibson county, and his successors in office, for the good behaviour of said children, and that they shall not become chargeable to the county or state; said bond to be given at the next county court after said children arrive in said county of Gibson. Be it enacted, That Jacob Bradbury, of the authorized to county of Gibson, be, and lie is hereby, authorized and em- emncipate hispoed slave j oena ed to emancipate a certain negro man slave by the n e of Benjamin, the property of said Bradbury; and that the said Bradbury, before emancipating said slave, shall give bond and satisfactory security to the chairman of the county court of Gibson county, in a sum double the val- ue of said slave, conditioned to indemnify each and every county in this state against his maintainance, and for his good behaviour, and upon the express condition that the above named Benjamin, shall not at any time become a charge either to the state or either of the counties in this State.
