State of Tennessee, That hereadwer it shoall unt be law lill for Grand Juries in the County courts of this state, to wake presentmeits against any per- son or persons, for an.y assault and battery, or for anyaffray, unless the same he committed in ihcir presenee during the term of the court; Provided, however, that nothing in this act contained shall be so construed, as to prohibit presentments for said offlencs,ifa prosecutor will come forward and have his name endorsed on the bill of indictment.
